PETITIONS under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to issue notice to the respondent to show cause as to why he should not be punished for having committed contempt of this Court's order passed respectively in M.P.No.1 of 2014 in W.P.No.34836 of 2014 and W.P.No.34837 of 2014 dated 23.12.2014 and punish him for disobedience in accordance with law.

2. On 5.1.2015, I ordered issue of statutory notices and also issued interim directions. Admittedly, two things have happened thereafter. They are (i) that the interim order issued on 5.1.2015 is complied with till date; and (ii) that the interim order passed by me on 23.12.2014 has been vacated by a learned Judge and in an appeal filed by the petitioner, there has been no interim order. Hence, there is no willful disobedience of the orders of this Court.

3. It is seen that the respondent filed two applications in Sub.A.Nos.56 and 57 of 2015 for dispensing with the personal appearance and expressing apology in the event of this Court coming to the conclusion that he had committed any contempt. The affidavits are also taken on record.

4. Therefore, the contempt petitions are closed. Consequently, the interim orders passed earlier shall stand vacated. Sub.A.Nos.56 and 57 are also closed.
