By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The prayer in the writ petition is for a Mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 26.12.2021 and to transfer back to his parent unit viz., Nattrampalli Block, Tirupattur District with restoration of seniority with all consequential and other attendant benefits.

3. Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Nanmaran, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner this Court, without expressing anything on merits, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2021 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
