ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to cancel the Registration of Marriage Certificate No.44 of 2013 dated 02.05.2013 on the file of the second respondent.

2. It is stated by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 that the representation of the petitioner was rejected by respondents 1 and 2, stating that the marriage registration certificate cannot be cancelled, as only the Family Court has got jurisdiction to deal with the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the person namely, J.Latha, whose marriage is sought to be dissolved, is no more,

4. After arguing for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw the Writ Petition.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
