ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu to dispose of O.S.No.213 of 2020 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 70 years and the suit in O.S.No.213 of
2020 is pending on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu. Considering the age of the petitioner and the pendency of the suit, the learned counsel sought for a direction for expeditious disposal of the said suit.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering that the petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 70 years, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the trial court for early disposal of the suit.
5. Accordingly, the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu is directed to dispose of O.S.No.213 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
