ORDER

This Court, by order dated 18.09.2025, while disposing of Crl.O.P. No. 25644 of 2025, had directed the petitioner to deposit 10% of the compensation amount before the Trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of a copy of that order. Since the said condition could not be complied with, the petitioner has filed the present petition before this Court seeking extension of time.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that subsequent to the order dated 18.09.2025 passed by this Court, negotiations were going on between the parties to bring about an out of Court settlement. However, at the last moment, settlement talks failed and hence, the petitioner could not comply with the direction of this Court to deposit 10% of the compensation amount within the stipulated time.

Considering the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant two weeks time to the petitioner from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to comply with the condition imposed by this Court by order dated 18.09.2025 in Crl.O.P. No. 25644 of 2025 i.e., to deposit 10% of the compensation amount before the Trial Court. 2\4
