Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records culminating in the Award of the 2nd respondent herein made in I.D.No. 1 of 2012, dated 10.10.2014 and quash the same. For Petitioner :

ORDER
Pending the Writ Petition the parties have settled the dispute by way of Memo dated 09.02.2024 signed by the parties has been filed. When the case came up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the first respondent has filed a Memo, dated 09.02.2024, which is extracted hereunder:- (a) The petitioner/University has filed the above writ petition challenging the Award dated 10.10.2014 passed by the 2nd respondent Tribunal in ID.No. 1 of 2012 granting certain benefits as mentioned in Para 43 of the Award. During the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner/Management has acceded to some of the demands raised by the Union and the issue has 2/6
been amicably settled as between the parties. (b) On 12.01.2024, our counsel has informed the Union regarding listing the above writ petition before this Court. The General Secretary of the 1st respondent Union contacted the Counsel informed that most of the issues as mentioned in the Award dated 10.10.2014 has been amicably settled as between the parties and the Union. The Counsel informed the Union to give a letter that the issues have been settled between the parties and the Union will not press for implementation of the Award dated 10.10.2014 passed in I.D.No. 01 of 2012 on the file of the 2nd respondent Tribunal.
(c) In view of the same, the Writ Petition may be disposed of by recording the above statement that the Union will not take steps for implementation of the Award dated 10.10.2014 passed in I.D.No. 01 of 2012 with liberty to raise any other dispute in future depending upon the facts and circumstances of the issue and thus render justice."
2. Recording the above Memo dated 09.02.2024 filed by the first respondent/National Maritime Academy Employment Union, the Writ Petition shall stands closed and the memo dated 09.02.2024 shall form 3/6
part of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
