ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the order, dated 06.01.2025 passed by the Society known as the Town Hall, Arakkonam.

2. It is only a Society that is registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act. That by itself will not make the Society a local or other authority within the meaning of Article 12 of the Constitution of India and the Writ Petition cannot be maintained as against a private person. The rights of the petitioner can be agitated before the appropriate forum.

3. This Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 2/4

13.02.2025 : no grs Note:- Registry is directed to return back the original impugned order filed in this Writ Petition.
