Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to commence and conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, pending on the file of the 2nd respondent in TDP Case No.20/2014 in Ref.No.A1/637/2014/3 dated 04.03.2015 and TDP Case No.25/2014 in Ref.No.A1/637/2014/8 dated 04.03.2015 within a reasonable time.

The petitioner is facing disciplinary proceedings pending on the file of Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings in TDP Case Nos.20 and 25 of 2014. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition, seeking for a direction to the respondents to commence and conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him.

2. Heard both sides.

3. In view of the narrow prayer made, the second respondent is directed to commence and conclude the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
