Respondents The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal in unnumbered revision petition filed by the petitioner, dated 24.1.2014 as against the order passed by the second respondent, dated 11.10.2013 in Revision Petition No.54 & 55 of 2013 within a time frame as may be fixed this Court.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
petitioner, as well as the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents.
2.This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal, in an unnumbered revision petition, filed by the petitioner, dated 24.1.2014, as against the order passed by the second respondent, dated 11.10.2013, in Revision Petition Nos.54 & 55 of 2013, within the time frame, as may be fixed this Court.
3.At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had placed before this Court a copy of the Government Order, in G.O.Ms.No.309, Tamil Nadu Culture and Tourism Development and Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Chennai, dated 15.12.2014, and had submitted that the revision petition filed by the petitioner, dated 24.1.2014, had been disposed of by the first respondent, the Secretary to Government, Tamil Nadu Culture and Tourism Development and Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Fort St. George, Chennai, and therefore, this writ petition has become infructuous.
4. A perusal of the said Government order reveals that the revision filed by the petitioner, dated 3.1.2014, had been disposed of by the first respondent, by an order, dated 15.12.2014, and therefore, this Court is of the considered view that no further orders are necessary, as the writ petition has become infructuous.
5. The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
