This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pending on the file of the first respondent police namely the Inspector of Police, Arcot Town Police Station, Vellore District in Crime No.529 of 2018 and quash the criminal proceeding.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that settlement has been arrived between the parties as such he requested to allow the prayer sought for in the petition.

3. The learned counsel for the second respondent also admitted that the matter was settled between the parties.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the second respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and consequently the case in Cr.No.529 of 2018 pending on the file of the first respondent police is quashed.
