ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order passed by the 1st respondent herein in Na.Ka.Vi.No.14036/2010 dated 14.03.2012 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant the Patta in favour of the petitioner as per Section 9 of the Gudalur Janmam Estates (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act (Act 24 of 1969) and include the name of the petitioner in Revenue Records for land measuring 9.87 Acres and 1.64 Acres in S.No.240/1(Part), 25 Cents in R.S.No.240/2 and 2.62 Acres in R.S.No.240/3 in Chambala in Gudalur Village, Gudalur Taluk, The Nilgiris District.

2. On 03.08.2021, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had no instructions from the petitioner. As such, this Court directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and post the matter on 05.08.2021. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner before this Court in person or through pleader.

3. Even in the last occasion, the learned counsel for the petitioner reported no instructions from the petitioner. Therefore, it shows that the petitioner is not interested to proceed the matter further. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
