PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.4 of 2020, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Intellectual Property Right Enforcement Cell, (IPREC), Coimbatore and to quash the same.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the the FIR in Crime No.4 of 2020, on the file of the 1st respondent Police.

2.Mr.Jayapalan, Sub Inspector of Police, Coimbatore, was present at the time of hearing through video conferencing. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that this petitioner is not an accused in this case and one Manoj was the accused in this case and a final report was also filed before the Judicial Magistrate III, Coimbatore and the same was taken on file in STC No.2032 of 2020. It is further submitted that the accused person pleaded guilty and also paid a fine and the case itself came to an end on 14.02.2020.

4.Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate, this criminal petition is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
