Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to measure the petitioner property comprised in Survey No. 29/2 admeasuring an extent of 1076 sq.ft in Patta No. 1083 and the property comprised in Survey No. 266/5 admeasuring an extent of 430 1⁄2 sq.ft in Patta No. 1067 situated at Bajanai Koil Street, Sorancheri - A, Anaikattucheri Village, Poonamallee Taluk, and Thiruvallur district and fix a boundary stone and issue boundary certificate.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his online application dated 25.07.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner had submitted an online application on 25.07.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the said authorities are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property, more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party as they deem fit. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:-

(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property, more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
