This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to correct the petitioner's name in the Provisional Selection List, Appointment Order and Joining Report as Janani.S, instead of Janani Sivaji and consequently

regularize the petitioner's service from the date of her initial appointment i.e., 20.12.2019 as Radiotherapy Technician and to pay all monetary and other service benefits by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner joined as Radiotherapy Technician in the fourth respondent Hospital vide appointment order dated 19.09.2019. However, her services were not regularized even though 20 temporary Radiotherapy Technicians were regularized. The petitioner's name is failed to be included in the regularization list on the reason that there is a discrepancy in her name mentioned in the provisional selection list, appointment order and joining report. The claim of the petitioner is that in School Certificates, College mark sheets and Degree Certificate, her name is mentioned only as Janani.S and also in the Service Register Book maintained by the fourth respondent Hospital. In the provisional selection list, appointment order and joining report issued by the respondents 2 to 4, her name has been wrongly mentioned as Janani Sivaji instead of Janani.S. Due to this mistake, her name has not been included in

the list for regularization and thereby, in order to rectify this error, the petitioner made a representation on 12.03.2025. Pursuant to the same, the fourth respondent, vide letter dated 07.10.2025 requested the third respondent to correct her name in the appointment order and issue appropriate orders. However, after a lapse of 4 months, the third respondent failed to correct her name in the provisional list and appointment order and till now, her services were not regularized. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court directs the third respondent to pass orders on the recommendation made by the fourth respondent dated 07.10.2025 within a time fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Nos.1, 2 and 4 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

5. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to pass appropriate orders on the on the recommendation made by the fourth respondent dated 07.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
