Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the entire records of 2nd respondent in No. D-1/TE/Appt. of Lecturer/2009/1676 dated 01.07.2009 relating to the appointment of the 3rd respondent for the post of Lecturer in Anthropology 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and consequentially directing the respondent to appoint petitioner as Lecturer in Anthropology.

ORDER

This matter earlier came up for consideration before this Court on 11.06.2024 and 09.07.2024. On both the occasions there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list. Thereafter, the matter underwent two adjournments on 15.07.2024 & 24.07.2024 and finally listed today. Today also there is no representation for the petitioner. 2.

On the other hand, Ms.V.Sudha, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the case of the petitioner was also considered and he was accordingly absorbed as Lecturer with effect from 15.06.2007.

In the light of the above, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution and accordingly, the same is dismissed for non-prosecution. The connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No costs. Page No.2 of 4
