ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta in his name in respect of the agriculture land bearing Survey No.13/3 of Peryampattu Village, Thandrampattu Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, measruing an extent of 37 and 1/4 cents of lands.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submitted that the petitioner made his application by online, which was also acknowledged by the 3rd respondent on 07.01.2017 under Reference No.tvm_pac_582 and that the 3rd respondent has not considered the same yet.

3.Ms.V.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders, within a time frame, in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 07.01.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
