This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.193 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same. 1/4

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that it is a case in counter in Crime Nos.193 and 194 of 2023 and both the F.I.Rs. were investigated by the first respondent and on completion of investigation, F.I.R. in Crime No.194 of 2023 was closed as 'mistake of fact' on 25.09.2023 and RCS notice was served in RCS No.25 of 2023. In so far as the F.I.R. in Crime No.193 of 2023 is concerned, the investigation is completed and final report is filed.

4.In the light of the above development the relief as sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted by this Court. If ultimately, the final report is acted upon and summons is served upon the petitioners, it is left open to the petitioners to work out the remedy in the manner known to law.

5.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above 2/4

directions. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
