Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to strictly implement the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court laid down in Lata Singh Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh and Arumugam Servai vs State of Tamil Nadu 2011 (6) SCC 405 and provide protection to the couples who undergo inter-caste marriages.

O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that the prayer as being put is really not of any substance, as undoubtedly the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court has to be complied with by everyone. In respect of the sole episode raised in this petition, learned Government Pleader states that action has already been taken. If the larger issue has to be raised, necessary research supported by material has to be before us requiring us to intervene in the public interest litigation. 2.In view of the aforesaid position, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition and states that he will collect the relevant material and obtain information through Right to Information Act, etc. and thereafter, file a comprehensive petition before this Court in accordance with law. 3.Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn in terms aforesaid. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.Ps. also stand dismissed.
