PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to implement the order of the 4th respondent made in A/2517/2010 dated 09.05.2011 under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act 1981 and thereby direct the respondents 1 to 3 to absorb the petitioners in the 1st respondent Corporation as permanent employee.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to implement the order of the 4th respondent made in A/2517/2010 dated 09.05.2011 under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act 1981 and thereby direct the respondents 1 to 3 to absorb the petitioners in the 1st respondent Corporation as permanent employee.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
2. According to the petitioners, the order of the Authority granting Conferment of Permanent Status has to be implemented by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Generation & Distribution Corporation Ltd.
3. The respondents brought to the attention of this Court that the order of Confermanent of Permanent Status has been set aside on 14.10.2019 by this Court in W.P.No.6598 of 2015 and therefore, the question of implementation of the order does not arise at all.
4. In view of the above submission of the Respondents, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
