This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2019 and issue separate computer Patta sheet in the petitioner's name in respect of Old No.56, New No.18, Main Road, Balaji Nagar, Ekkattuthangal, Chennai-600 097 situated at Ekattuthangal Village, Mambalam,
Guindy Taluk, Chennai District comprised in old S.No.101, T.S.No.116/40 measuring an extent of 2450 Sq.ft., and vide Registered Sale deed in Document No.461/2004 dated 28.01.2004 on the file of SRO, Saidapet Joint I, Chennai within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned Government Advocate takes notice to the official respondents. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the Land and Building bearing Old No.56, New No.18, Main Road, Balaji Nagar, Ekkattuthangal, Chennai-600 097. Hence, petitioner approached the 2nd respondent by way of representation dated 04.04.2019 for issue of Computer Patta Sheet. However, till date no orders have been passed. Hence, this writ petition is filed.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2019 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2019 will be considered by the respondents within the time frame fixed by this Court.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing opportunity of hearing to the aggrieved parties if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
