By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.01.2017 and consequently direct the second respondent to sanction widow pension immediately from the date of the petitioner husband's death without any further delay.
3.According to the petitioner, her husband expired on 18.02.2015 due to his ill health, leaving behind her and two minor female children aged about 16 and 12. Therefore, she made a representation dated 03.01.2017 to the respondents seeking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
family pension. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition is filed.
4.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
5.In view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition this court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter directs the authority concerned to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated03.01.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
