ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give permission to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Balakuttapatti Malayanur Sri Thottiyathu Mariamman Koil at Omalur Taluk, Salem District, on 27.02.2022 between 6 PM to 11 PM based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2022.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that during the previous occasion when the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme was conducted, there were unpleasant incidents and illegal activities were committed, thereafter case was also registered. Hence, he opposed this petition.

Public Prosecutor that during the previous Adal Padal Dance Programme, there were unpleasant incidents leading to filing of criminal case, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
