Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2023 by appointing a surveyor for measuring the lands in S.F.No.557/1 and 557/3, mark and fix the boundaries and dispose of the same forthwith.

ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2023 by appointing a surveyor for measuring the lands in S.F.No.557/1 and 557/3, mark and fix the boundaries and dispose of the same forthwith.

2. In respect of the land situated in S.F.Nos.557/1 and 557/3 at Kaniyur Village, Sulur, Coimbatore, the petitioner has given an application on 07.01.2023 to the third and fourth respondents to survey the land and identifying the four boundaries. In order to consider the said application and to complete the survey within a time frame, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Ms.V.Geetha Rani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate would submit that, 2/5

the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and the needful shall be undertaken within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said stand taken by the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the third and fourth respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 07.01.2023 and do the needful, by completing the survey, within a period of eight weeks from the date of payment of necessary fee to that effect by the petitioner.

6. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
