The present Civil Revision Petition is laid by the petitioner seeking to issue appropriate direction for speedy disposal of HMOP.No.84 of 2017 pending on the file of the learned Learned Sub Judge, Poonamallee, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2.The Revision Petitioner herein is the petitioner in H.M.O.P.No.84 of 2017, which she has laid for dissolution of her marriage with the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the revision petitioner submitted that the chief examination of the revision petitioner as P.W.1 is complete and the respondent has obtained at least six adjournments for cross examining the petitioner.

4.Without getting into the merits of the case, this Court does consider that this matter requires a speedy disposal, since this is the 5th year of the institution of the litigation.

5.The Subordinate Court, Poonamalle is now required to dispose of H.M.O.P No.84 of 2017 within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, excluding the intervening summer holidays, 2022. 6.Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed.
