Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

On a reading of the complaint dated 09.04.2016, it is seen that the petitioner is an allottee of a CMDA shop in Koyambedu and that one hawker by name Kumar is also keeping and selling certain vegetables right near the petitioner's shop, thereby, hampering the petitioner's business. 4.

In a case of this nature, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to register an FIR or give police protection as prayed for.
