Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to regularize the suspension period between 12.04.1990 and 28.11.1991 and as having been spent on duty in view of the acquittal in the criminal case in Special case No.1/1997 dated 23.10.2008 on the file of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Cuddalore and to consequently arrive at appropriate pension and pensionary benefits by allowing the petitioner to retire peacefully w.e.f. 30.11.1991 with interest for belated payment of retiral benefits within a time.
