ORDER
The present Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents not to grant approval for conversion of agricultural lands in survey No.339, new Survey No.339/3, Patta No.1521, Survey No.339/2B,
2C, Patta Nos.1653, 1654 and Survey No.340, New Survey No.340/3, Patta No.171, at Ettiveerampalayam Village, Avinasi Taluk, Tirupur District into housing layout.
2. A counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents 2 and 3 on 09.06.2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, in similar issue, this Court in W.P.No.7845 of 2023 dated 15.03.2023, by recording the submission of the petitioner as well as the respondents, passed an order, by directing the second respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The relevant portion of the order is extracted herein under:
"4. He further submits that the subsequent alleged purchasers of the property are trying to mutuate the revenue records in their names and trying to get valid approval from the appropriate authorities to convert the agricultural lands into a housing layout. For which the petitioner made necessary objections before the respondents on 23.11.2022.
5. The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the
representation given by the petitioner will be considered before sanctioning the plan and would submit that it is always open to the petitioner to move the D.R.T for appropriate orders.
6. Accordingly, the representation given by the petitioner shall be considered by the second respondent and appropriate orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
7. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P is closed."
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner, if any, and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
