The petitioner/A1 seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.461 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC.

2. It is stated that the accused persons came in a motor cycle and entered into a quarrel with the defacto complainant and assaulted him.

3. However, it is stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the quarrel was the after effect of an earlier dispute in sale of Narcotics. It is stated that as against this petitioner there are 13 previous cases.

4. By way of reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that there are only ten previous cases. Either way, since investigation will have to done on not only this particular offence, but, also on the allegation of sale of narcotics.

5. Taking all those factors into consideration, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition seeking anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
