ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) This contempt petition is filed seeking to punish the respondent for non-compliance of the order dated 20.08.2014 passed by this Court in W.P. No.19243 of 2014. 2.

The Commissioner of Chennai Corporation had filed an affidavit in response to the notice of this Court dated 09.7.2015 stating therein that enquiry had been conducted on the representation made by the petitioner as per the direction of this Court and decision has been taken. However, it is found that the building being special building, the jurisdiction lies with Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority ( for short 'CMDA') and the CMDA has been accordingly informed to take necessary action. 3.

In view of the forgoing, we direct the CMDA to take consequential action in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear that if required, the Corporation of Chennai shall co-

operate with the CMDA as they have to work in co-ordination and co-operation.
