ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is giving up the 1st respondent. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Accordingly, the 1st respondent is given up.

2. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 2 and 3.

3. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representations dated 24.4.2015 06.07.2015 08.09.2016.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representations, the respondents 2 and 3 have not passed any order so far.

6. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 submitted that the respondents 2 and 3 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass orders in accordance with law, within a time frame.

7. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 24.4.2015 06.07.2015 08.09.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
