ORDER
The petitioner, who was arrested on 23.12.2025 for the alleged offence under Section 420 of IPC in connection with Crime No.10 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner received a
sum of Rs.34,21,000/- from the defacto complainant,on the pretext of securing a government job to defacto complainant's son and subsequently failed to secure the government job nor repaid the amount. Hence, the case is filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and the allegation levelled against him are false. He further submitted that petitioner is ready to cooperate with the investigation and he has been in judicial custody since 23.12.2025. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution's case and submitted that a huge sum of Rs.34,21,000/- is involved in this case and the investigation is still progressing, hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the huge sum involved in this case, the stage of investigation and other aspects of this case and so far no money is recovered or repaid, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 09.02.2026 jai
