ORDER

The petitioner claims that he is a President of Veerachi Mangalam Village, Dharapuram Taluk and during the Tamil month of "Panguni", the village people used to celebrate a festival viz., "Sri Kalliamman festival" and during the course of festival they used to conduct song and dance programmes. Similarly, for this year steps have already been taken to conduct the festival and programmes between 08-04-2015 and 10-04-2015 and in this regard, he has submitted a representation to the second respondent on 01-04-2015 and though it was acknowledged by him, it was not considered in his favour.

Heard the submissions of Mr. R. Neethi Perumal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

This Court, taking into consideration of the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 01-04-2015 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the petitioner. 4.
