The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.02.2022.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner Senthilkumar and one Subramanian are the adjacent land owners and civil suit is also pending between them. Further, there are frequent quarrels and skirmishes between the parties and thereby, the respondent had earlier registered two cases in Crime No.779 of 2021 and Crime No.639 of 2021. Even thereafter, the petitioner and the counter party are repeatedly indulging in disputes. Since their dispute creating breach of peace, the respondents police had referred the matter to the RDO, Erode and the RDO, Erode also initiated the proceedings. He would further submit that in the event of any law and order or any criminal act committed by any of the person, the respondents will take appropriate action. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
