..Petitioners Vs K.Hepzibai ..Respondent Common Prayer : Criminal Revision Cases are filed under Section 397 read with 401 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to set aside the order of the Appellate Court in C.A.Nos.431 and 432 of 2017 dated 29.10.2021 on the file of the III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore District, confirming the order of the Trial Court in C.C.Nos.193 and 116 of 2017 dated 17.11.2017 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate Fast Track Court I @ Magistrate Level, Coimbatore District by allowing these revisions. Mr.K.Kannan COMMON ORDER These Criminal Revision Cases have been filed as against the Judgment dated 29.10.2021 passed in C.A.Nos.431 & 432 of 2017 on the file of the III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore, thereby confirming the

order of conviction and sentenced imposed in C.C.Nos.193 & 116 of 2017 dated 17.11.2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.I at Magisterial Level, Coimbatore District, for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. 2.

Pending revision, a memo has been filed stating that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement between the petitioners and the respondent. It is submitted that the total settlement amount agreed between the parties in respect of both cases is Rs.15,00,000/-. Out of the said amount, the petitioners 2 and 3 have already paid a sum of Rs.13,35,000/- to the respondent. It is further submitted that the remaining amount of Rs.1,65,000/- shall be paid by the petitioners to the respondent within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Recording the said memo and the terms of compromise, the petitioners are directed to pay the balance amount of Rs.1,65,000/- to the respondent within a period of six weeks from today. 4.

In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, these Criminal Revision Cases are allowed in terms of the above compromise. 26-03-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order LPP
