The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.6 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 of IPC.

2. It is stated that the petitioner had collected Rs.43.83/- lakhs from 29 persons on promising to secure job for them as Office Assistant and Supervisors at Australia.

3. It is the contention of the learned Government Counsel that when the petitioner appeared on receipt of the 41 (A) of Cr.P.C., notice, he promised to return the amounts to the victims. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he had received only Rs.15/- Lakhs only to his account.

rli 4.Taking all the factors into consideration and the fact that petitioner had promised to return all the amounts to the victim, but still not returned and the case is pending investigation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and therefore, this petition stands dismissed.
