ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first Respondent Police to register a First Information Report based on the order dated 07.07.2022 in Crl.M.P.No.1031 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate at Katpadi.

2.When the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the basis of the direction given by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Katpadi, in Cr.M.P.No.1031 of 2022, Police conducted enquiry and filed negative closure report. 3.In response, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner was not served with the copy of the closure report. 4.In view of the submissions made and the fact that closure report had been filed in this case, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be entertained. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of giving direction to the first respondent to supply copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. is open to the petitioner to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
