This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondents, particularly the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application and issue Legal Heir Certificate, in respect of Late Smt. Krishnammal within a stipulated period."

2. The petitioner would submit that she is the sister of the deceased Krishnammal, who is a retired school helper and she remained unmarried throughout her life and was under the sole care and custody of the petitioner. The said Krishnammal passed away on 23.04.2021 and the petitioner became her sole surviving legal heir.
3. Therefore, the petitioner made an application seeking a legal heirship certificate. However, there was no action on the part of the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Mr. R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General on instructions would submit that the 2nd respondent would dispose of the petitioner's request after she makes an online application.
5. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to make an online application within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and within a period of 2 weeks therefrom, the petitioner's application shall be disposed of in the light of Clause I (C) 3/6
of GO.(Ms).No.110 dated 13.03.2024, which read as follows: "In case of death of Un-married person:
i.Parents of the deceased.
ii.Siblings (Brothers and Sisters) of the deceased."
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
