JUDGMENT

This Criminal Appeal has been filed to call for the records relating to the judgment in C.C.No.26 of 2015 dated 04.04.2018 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate & Special Court, Erode and to set aside the conviction and sentence passed as against the appellant.

2.On the earlier occasion i.e., on 26.04.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the appellant. Hence, the case was directed to be listed on 02.07.2024, under the caption "for dismissal". Inspite of the same, even today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation on behalf of the appellant. Therefore, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed for default. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate application for recalling this order.
