This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to fix the fee for the students who have been admitted through CENTAC for the academic year 2011-12 in the 1st year B.E./B.Tech courses in the petitioner Institution on par with the States of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that since the prayer sought for in this writ petition is related to the year 2011-2012, nothing survives for adjudication at this distant point of time.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
