By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. Heard Mr.K.S.Shankar Murali, learned counsel for petitioners, Mr.R.M.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, for the respondent.

2. The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 01.02.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. On a perusal of the representation, it is seen that there are several private parties whose names have been mentioned therein and there are references to civil disputes between the parties. Neither in the representation nor in this writ petition, the petitioners have impleaded those persons as parties. Therefore, the question of issuing any direction at this stage does not arise.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to array all the rival claimants in whose name the property tax assessment is said to be standing as on date and if such a representation is given along with necessary documents, the respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law.
