By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner is serving as Village Administrative Officer and at present working at Uthiramerur and he has also obtained family card (Ration Card) No.03/G/0/0/538548 from the department of Civil Supplies and was regularly getting supplies from the Government, in concession rate from the ration shop located at Uthiramerur. The petitioner would further state during the year 2007, he has shifted his residence to Door No.1, Balu Colony, K.K.Nagar Extension, Velingapattarai, Kanchipuram and above said family card was also transmitted to the new address on 10.09.2007. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, due to inadvertence, the said family card was lost during the month of October, 2013 and in this regard the petitioner lodged a complaint on the file of third respondent praying for issuance of duplicate ration card and it was also followed by a legal notice dated 18.08.2014. The second respondent has also issued an official memorandum to the third respondent directing the third respondent to inform steps taken on the representation and inspite of that, there was no response and once again submitted a representation on 27.02.2015 and 02.03.2015 to the first respondent with the copies marked to the other respondents and since he has not been favoured with any response came forward to file the present writ petition.

4. Heard, the submissions Mr.A.K.Kumarasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents.

This Court, taken into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into merits of representation, directing the third respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 02.03.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
