This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent to consider the representation dated 14.02.2022 and to grant Police Protection to the petitioner.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner and his brother Iyyappan were settled with agricultural land in the year 2014 and by that way, the petitioner had become the owner of the land in Survey No.158/5B3 totally measuring about (0.20.0 Hectare) 49.4 cents and he had been in possession and enjoyment
of the same and recently, the adjacent land owner viz., the third respondent herein, raising some boundary dispute, had prevented the petitioner from cultivating his land by threatening him with dire consequences and thereby, the petitioner had preferred a police complaint dated 14.2.2022 with the second respondent and finding that no action has been taken upon the same, has filed the present petition. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the documents of title to the land is in favour of the petitioner and when the petitioner intended to cultivate his land as a rightful owner, the third respondent, using his muscle power and money is preventing the petitioner abusing him with filthy language and threatening him to do away. He would further submit that the petitioner having failed to get justice at the hands of the respondent police, had knocked the doors of this court seeking indulgence.
4.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that as per the representation dated 14.02.2022, there is an irrigation channel running between the lands of the parties. He would further submit that a proper enquiry would be conducted based on the representation dated 14.02.2022 made by the petitioner in accordance with law and Police Protection will be given to the petitioner, if required.
