This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to permit the petitioner's daughter to write National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) - 2020 scheduled to be held on 03.05.2020, without insisting for fingerprint identification.

2. The daughter of the petitioner suffers from a very strange disease called as Palmoplantar Hyperhidrosis disorder. Persons suffering from this disorder will not be able to have their fingerprint recognized. This disorder basically destroys the structure of papillary lines in the epidermis and underlying dermis (top two layers of skin) which substantially affects the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

fingerprint recognition. In the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) - 2020, the fingerprint identification is mandatory. Due to the disorder suffered by the petitioner's daughter, it is virtually impossible for her to get the fingerprint identification.

3. Heard Mr. B.Vijay, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. B.Pabu Manohar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the peculiarity of the present case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to permit the petitioner's daughter to write the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) - 2020, without insisting for fingerprint identification. The petitioner's daughter shall produce her original Aadhar card at the time of attending National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) - 2020, to the respondent and the same shall be verified and the petitioner's daughter shall be allowed to attend the examination.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
