respondents herein, their men, agents, servants, subordinates or any other person or persons claiming through them or authorized by them from, in any manner, demanding or collecting fees from the petitioner herein for the II year BDS Course for the academic year 2015-16 in excess of the fee that is charged in Government Medical Colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents herein from in any manner, demanding or collecting fees from the petitioner for the II year BDS Course for the academic year 2015-16 in excess of the fee that is charged in Government Medical Colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu.

2.When this writ petition has been taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter is covered by the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 28.10.2016 in S.L.P.(C)No.30658 of 2016. He further submitted that as per the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court stated supra, the petitioner has already paid a fee of Rs.2,00,000/- and he has to pay the balance fees by today, since today is the last day for payment of the fees. He further submitted that extension of time may be granted for payment of the balance fees.

3.The submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is recorded. With regard to the payment of balance fee, the petitioner is permitted to approach the concerned authority for extension of time, immediately, by way of a representation, which shall be favourably considered. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
