Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus, to direct the first respondent who in turn issue a necessary direction to the 2nd respondent to transfer the patta pertaining to the property bearing S.R.No.8/3C to an extent of 0.40 cents situated at Kumarampatti Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District to the legal heirs of the petitioner's father jointly based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2024 made to the 1st respondent.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner and his brothers with respect to the subject property based on the representation made by the petitioner on 30.09.2024.
2. Heard Mr. M. Prabakar learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. The case of the petitioner is that, the subject property originally belonged to his father through a registered Sale Deed dated 29.04.1975. The father of the petitioner died on 18.12.1993 leaving behind his wife and 4 sons. The petitioner made a representation seeking for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner and his brothers. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 2/4
30.09.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
