PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order in BCDFGISSSV.No.1276/2024 dated 24.12.2024 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's son Vijay @ Jockey, S/o. Ravi the detenue, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal , Chennai before this Honble Court and petitionres son Vijay @ Jockey, S/o. Ravi, aged about 22 years the detenue herein set him at liberty. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.521, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 03.02.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
