Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent in Tha.Pa.No.K1/01/2014 Rule 17 (b) dated 24.01.2015 and also the subsequent order in D.O.No.102/2015 C.No.K1/PR/01/2014 dated 11.02.2015 as confirmed by the order of the 2nd respondent in C.No.B2/APPEAL.13/2015 dated 23.03.2015 and quashes the same and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with all consequential benefits including attendant and monetary benefits.

This matter earlier came up for consideration before this Court on 06.08.2024. As there was no representation for the petitioner, the same was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal".

It is represented by Mr.P.Kumaresan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.Vadivelu Deenadayalan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents that the petitioner is convicted in SPL.C.No.02 of 2015 and an appeal is filed, which is pending before this Court in Crl.A.No.969 of 2022.
3. Today inspite of the matter being listed under the caption "for dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner either in the pre-lunch session or post-lunch session. In these circumstances, this Court is left with no 2/4
other option except dismissing this writ petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Connected writ miscellaneous petition stands closed.
