ORDER

Mr.C.Munusamy, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner was already paid with a sum of Rs.13,38,702/- as per proceedings dated 16.05.2018 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ passed by Senior Regional Manager of the Tamil Nadu Civil

Supplies Corporation. This apart, Rs.4,12,016/- was also paid. Therefore, nothing more remains to be paid to the petitioner. Hence, the contempt petition is liable to be closed.

2. Since it is claimed by the respondents that the amount sought to be paid to the petitioner was already paid, this Court is not inclined to entertain the contempt petition. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. If there is any disputed amount payable to the petitioner, it is open to him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, Sub Application No.267 of 2018 is also closed.
