The petitioner/A7, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 324, 294(b), 307 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.119 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein who was earlier granted anticipatory bail, had not furnished surety. Hence, second anticipatory bail is filed by the petitioner after two years. 3.The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) would submit that the investigation has completed and final report has also been filed showing the petitioner is an absconding accused. 4.In view of the above facts, this Court is of the view that the petitioner shall surrender before the Court below viz., XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and seek for remedy. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
