Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 17.3.2015, and forbearing the respondents, in particular the third respondent, from erecting the High Tension Tower No.58 as per the new deviated line and directing them to restore the same at the Southern side of West to East of the agricultural land situated at Survey No.81, New Re-Survey No.81/1, Mettupalayam Village, now Rasatha Valasu Village, Vellakovil, Kangeyam Taluk.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioners claim that they are having agricultural lands admeasuring to an extent of 3.10 acres in Survey No.81 (New ReSurvey No.81/1) situated at Mettupalayam Village and now Rasatha Valasu Village, Kangeyam Taluk, Thiruppur District, and they are in joint possession of the same. The grievance expressed by the petitioners, is that the respondents originally proposed High Tension Tower No.58 and 59 and earmarked their lands for erecting the pylons and subsequently, made a deviation detriment to the interest of the petitioners and in this regard, they have submitted a detailed representation dated 17.3.2015, asking them to stick on to their https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

original path/line and though it was received by them, no response is forthcoming and hence, they came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and also Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned Standing Counsel, who accepted notice for the respondents. 4.Though the petitioners prayed for a larger relief of disposal of the representation as well as forbearing the third respondent from resorting to erect the pylons in the deviated line, this Court is of the view that it would suffice to direct the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 17.3.2015, within a stipulated time.

5.This Court, without entering upon the merits of the representation dated 17.3.2015, submitted by the petitioners, directs the third respondent to consider the said representation and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and not later than three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners.
